Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 8 July 2026

These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of the MITS Edge website, our courses and our related services. Please read them carefully before enrolling.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing this website, creating an account, submitting an enquiry, or enrolling in any course, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old, or enrolled with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
  • You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information when registering or enrolling.
  • You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
  • Notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.

3. Courses and enrolment

Course content, curriculum, duration, schedules, batch timings, faculty and delivery mode (online, offline or hybrid) are indicative and may be modified to maintain or improve quality. We will make reasonable efforts to notify enrolled learners of material changes.

Enrolment is confirmed only once the applicable fee has been received and a batch has been allocated. Seats in a batch are limited and are allocated at our discretion.

4. Fees, payments and taxes

  • Course fees are displayed on the relevant course page and are payable in advance unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Fees are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise; taxes such as GST will be added and reflected on your invoice.
  • Online payments are processed by our third-party payment gateway. We do not store your card, UPI or bank credentials.
  • By making a payment you confirm that you are authorised to use the chosen payment method.
  • We may revise fees at any time; changes do not affect enrolments already confirmed and paid for.

5. Refunds and cancellations

Requests for cancellation or refund must be made in writing to our support email. Unless a specific refund policy is stated for a programme, refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis and may be subject to an administrative deduction and to the amount of course content already delivered or accessed.

Where a payment is unsuccessful, duplicated, or a transaction fails after the amount is debited, the amount is typically reversed by the payment provider within the timelines prescribed by them. If MITS Edge cancels a batch, learners will be offered a transfer to another batch or a refund of the fee paid for that batch.

6. Certificates

Certificates are issued only to learners who complete the applicable attendance, assessment and project requirements and who have cleared all outstanding fees. Certificates may be verified through our certificate verification page. We reserve the right to withdraw or invalidate a certificate obtained through misconduct or misrepresentation.

7. Placement support

MITS Edge provides career and placement support — such as resume preparation, interview preparation, mentoring and introductions to hiring partners. Placement support does not constitute a guarantee of employment, an offer of employment, or any assurance of a particular salary or role. Outcomes depend on your performance, skills, market conditions and employer decisions.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Share, resell, record, reproduce or redistribute course content, recordings or materials without our written permission
  • Share your account or course access with any other person
  • Disrupt classes, harass faculty, staff or fellow learners, or engage in discriminatory or abusive behaviour
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, or interfere with the security or operation of the website
  • Use our services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law

We may suspend or terminate access for any breach of these rules, without refund where the breach is material.

9. Intellectual property

All course materials, curriculum, recordings, assessments, software, logos, trademarks and content on this website are owned by MITS Edge or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Enrolment grants you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access the materials for your own learning only. No other rights are granted.

10. Third-party services

Our website and services may rely on or link to third parties — for example payment gateways, email providers, video conferencing tools and hiring partners. We are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of those third parties, and your use of them may be governed by their own terms.

11. Disclaimers

Our website and services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not warrant any specific learning outcome, examination result, salary or employment outcome.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MITS Edge and its directors, employees and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the services shall not exceed the total fees actually paid by you to MITS Edge for the course giving rise to the claim.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MITS Edge against any claims, losses, liabilities and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these terms, your misuse of the services, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

14. Termination

You may stop using our services at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access where you breach these terms, where required by law, or where continuing to provide the service is no longer reasonably practicable. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability and governing law — will survive.

15. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Subject to any applicable law, the state and federal courts located in New York, New York shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms or our services.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The revised terms take effect when posted on this page, and the “Last updated” date will be revised. Your continued use of our services after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
