Skilling Policy
Last updated: 14 August 2026
This Skilling Policy describes the principles MITS Edge follows when designing, delivering, and continuously improving our technology training programmes.
1. Our approach to skilling
MITS Edge (“MITS Edge”, “we”, “us” or “our”) exists to make industry-relevant technology skills accessible, practical, and career-focused. Every programme we design is guided by the same underlying principles, regardless of subject area.
2. Curriculum design principles
- Curricula are designed around real-world tools, workflows, and skills that employers currently look for, not purely theoretical content
- Programmes are structured to progress from fundamentals to applied, project-based learning
- Course content is reviewed and updated periodically to reflect changes in tools, frameworks, and industry practice
- Where relevant, programmes are aligned with recognised industry certifications to give learners externally verifiable credentials
3. Delivery standards
- Programmes are delivered through live, instructor-led online classes to preserve interactivity and doubt-resolution
- Instructors are expected to have relevant industry or teaching experience in the subject they deliver
- Learners have access to recorded sessions, course materials, and support channels to reinforce learning outside live class time
- Hands-on projects and assessments are built into programmes to validate applied understanding, not just attendance
4. Learner support and outcomes
Where a programme includes placement or career support, we aim to provide genuine, active support — including resume and interview preparation, and connecting learners with relevant opportunities — rather than a passive guarantee. The specific inclusions vary by programme and are described on the relevant course page.
5. Continuous improvement
We collect learner feedback throughout and after each programme and use it, together with industry trends, to revise curricula, teaching approaches, and support processes on an ongoing basis.
