Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Policy

Last updated: 14 August 2026

This Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Policy describes MITS Edge’s commitment to providing a safe, healthy workplace for our team and to conducting our operations in an environmentally responsible manner.

1. Purpose

MITS Edge (“MITS Edge”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is committed to the health, safety and wellbeing of our employees, trainers, contractors, and visitors, and to minimising the environmental impact of our operations. As a technology education company delivering most of our services online, our EHS focus centres on office safety, employee wellbeing, and responsible operational practices.

2. Health & safety commitments

  • Maintain safe, clean, and well-ventilated office premises for all staff and visitors
  • Provide appropriate ergonomic setup and guidance to reduce workplace strain for desk-based roles
  • Ensure fire safety equipment, emergency exits, and evacuation procedures are in place and communicated at all office locations
  • Provide access to first-aid facilities and maintain emergency contact procedures
  • Encourage employees to report unsafe conditions or near-misses without fear of reprisal
  • Review and address safety concerns raised by employees in a timely manner

3. Environmental commitments

  • Deliver the large majority of our training programmes online, reducing travel and physical infrastructure needs
  • Minimise paper use by preferring digital enrolment, certification, and communication processes
  • Encourage responsible use of electricity, water, and office consumables at our premises
  • Dispose of electronic waste (e-waste) through appropriate, environmentally responsible channels

4. Roles and responsibilities

Managers are responsible for ensuring EHS practices are followed within their teams and locations. All employees and contractors are expected to follow safety guidance provided, use equipment responsibly, and report hazards or incidents promptly. MITS Edge leadership reviews EHS practices periodically to identify and address gaps.
