COVID-19 Policy
Last updated: 14 August 2026
This policy describes how MITS Edge adapted its operations in response to COVID-19, and the practices we have carried forward to support learner and employee safety and continuity.
1. Background
MITS Edge (“MITS Edge”, “we”, “us” or “our”) shifted our training delivery to a fully online, live instructor-led model in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. This shift proved effective at maintaining uninterrupted, high-quality learning for students regardless of external disruption, and we have retained online delivery as our primary model since.
2. Continuity of learning
- All core programmes are delivered live online, removing dependency on physical classroom attendance
- Recorded sessions and course materials are made available so learners are not disadvantaged by missing a live class due to illness
- Flexible batch options and doubt-resolution support help learners stay on track even during periods of disruption
3. Workplace practices
For any in-person activity at our offices, we follow prevailing local public health guidance at the time, and encourage employees who are unwell to stay home and access remote work options where their role allows it, to avoid unnecessary spread of illness in shared workspaces.
4. Ongoing approach
While the acute phase of the pandemic has passed, MITS Edge continues to apply the lessons learned: maintaining resilient, largely online-first operations that can continue functioning through public health disruptions, and prioritising the health of our learners, employees, and their families over rigid in-person requirements.
